The Mission St. Luke Construction Group concentrates their effort in providing rudimentary shelters for the homeless and destitute in San Lucas Toliman.

Guatemala does not have a social system to look after the poor and homeless. When someone is unable to work and has no children or family to look after them, they are eventually turned out onto the streets.

This part of the populous construct makeshift shelters to survive the elements. Most of these shelters are barely inhabitable.

Our construction teams reconstruct these shelters to try to improve their living conditions as well as build stoves in their shelters as an alternative to the open fires they use.
